Why use an NASDF referred realtor?
When using a realtor from our program, your membership includes a credit of up to 25% towards your closing costs.
How does it work?
Every realtor receives a commission for helping you find your new home or when selling your old one. 25%of their total commission will be credited towards your closing costs when the transaction closes. The only caveat is that it must be an agent referred by NASDF. It’s that simple.
Can you give me an example?
Let’s say you’re buying a home for $400,000 and the realtor's commission is 2.5%. Of the total commission received ($10,000 in this example), 25% of that commission would be credited towards your closing costs on your closing statement. In this case $2,500.
What if I’m renting instead of buying?
This discount does NOT apply if you are renting. It only applies when you buy or sell a home using the NASDF preferred realtor network.
What if I don’t like the realtor you referred me to?
When you request a realtor, we will refer you to two separate agents to interview. You choose which one you want to use. If you are not 100% satisfied by the realtor that NASDF has referred you to, please reach out to us via email at info@nasdf.org and someone will contact you within 24 hours with another two realtors to select from.
What if I use a realtor that is NOT in the NASDF network?
The 25% credit will not apply.
